Aesthetics and Analysis

How can you still enjoy movies, I am often asked [. . .], when you spend all your time analyzing them and researching them? All I can say in response is that I enjoy movies more than ever, but admittedly, in a very different way from my very first excursions into the illuminated darkness (Andrew Sarris).

The book is all you need. I don’t believe it ever came with any CDs or access codes, but even if it did, all we’re using is the book. Thanks for the question! See you in class!

I will not be teaching this summer at all. I’m teaching Media Theory and Film History in the fall. I’m not sure when the next time I’ll teach Aesthetics and Analysis is, but thanks for the interest!
